 nto future endeavors. Offered in the spring and early summer\, the lifegua
 rd certification provides participants 15 years of age and older with the 
 knowledge and skills to prevent\, recognize\, and respond to aquatic emerg
 encies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies\, injurie
 s\, and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel 
 take over. Attendance Policy Participants must attend all of the scheduled
  class dates and times in order to complete the course and be certified as
  a lifeguard. If a participant misses any part of the course they will not
  be certified. No exceptions. Successful completion of the course results 
 in a 2-year certification in lifeguarding\, first aid\, CPR for the profes
 sional rescuer\, and AED.Course Days & Times Wed. 8-9:30 pm - Fantasy Lake
  Swim Test Wed. 8-9:00 pm - Lifeguarding Swim Test Thurs. 4-9 pm Fri. 4-9
